Copner Biotech are pleased to announce our participation in a collaborative biofabrication research programme in conjunction with Northampton and Loughborough Universities.

Professor Lee Machado of Northampton University "..Advancing 4D Bioprinting for Functional Disease Models and Therapeutic Discovery is a collaborative project between the University of Northampton, Copner Biotech, and Loughborough University to expand state-of-the-art 4D bioprinting technology for biomedical research. Building on earlier work establishing 3D bioprinting for sarcoma, this project deploys Copner Biotech’s GRAPE S1 4D bioprinter to create dynamic, physiologically relevant in-vitro models for immune disorders, cancer, and therapeutic testing..."

Copner Biotech secures Blaenau Gwent Business Development Grants

Copner Biotech awarded three Business Development Grants from Blaenau Gwent. These grants will be instrumental in upgrading our current extrusion bioprinter, the GRAPE-S1, to include a built-in clean room environment and new software features. Additionally, the funding will assist us to consolidate our intellectual property portfolio to include European and US patents to run along side our UK patents.
