June 6th 2021 Jordan and Alan Copner files UK Intellectual Property Office application GB2108078.3, to patent the design and manufacturing workflow for the production of Negative Space 3D Inkjet Printer.

May 9th 2022 Copner Biotech files UK Intellectual Property Office application GB2206780.5 together with International application PCT/GB2022/000051, to patent the design and manufacturing workflow for the printing of 3D model constructs using low viscosity materials.

May 9th 2022 Copner Biotech files UK Intellectual Property Office application GB2206781.3 to patent the method of 3D printing using the GRAPE UK® data format.

In the summer of 2022 Copner Biotech (Lead) secures funding from the UK Government in the form of Innovate UK grant of £431,142 in order to develop the next generation 3D Inkjet Bio Printer. This project establishes further collaboration with Jellagen with their development of an innovative BioINK.

October 2022 Copner Biotech and Jellagen begin collaborative work on this exciting 19 month Innovate UK part funded project; with both companies committed to establishing a bio printing centre of excellence in Wales.
